Danielle Riley
Keough is an American actress. [2] She was born in Santa Monica to Danny Keough
and Lisa Marie Presley. She is the daughter of Elvis Presley, actress, and
singer. Keough was raised by her father in Hawaii and Los Angeles, and
additionally was a resident of her mother in California and Tennessee. She
started modeling at 15. The appearances she made at Dolce & Gabbana
fashion shows and Christian Dior's cover-shoots were among her many highlights.
Keough made her debut in feature films at age 20, appearing as a supporting
character in the musical biopic The Runaways (2010), in which she played Marie
Currie. Following The Good Doctor (2011) she starred in Jack & Diane
(2012). She was later cast as a minor character in Steven Soderbergh’s comedy
Magic Mike (2012). In 2012, Keough appeared in Yellow and Kiss of the Damned.
She was then in the action film Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). It was the fourth
movie in the Mad Max series. In 2016, Keough had her breakthrough role as a law
student-turned-escort in the first season of the anthology series The
Girlfriend Experience, executive-produced by Soderbergh and based on his 2009
film of the same name. The film received a lot of praise for her performance
and received nominations for the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance of an
Actress in a Television Limited Series or Motion Picture. Keough's performance
in the role of a lost young girl in American Honey (2017) garnered her even
more praise, and also an Independent Spirit Award nomination. Keough was the
lead in the apocalyptic horror film It Comes at Night (2017). Keough then
reunited Soderbergh to play Logan Lucky, a heist film. This was followed by
roles in a variety of horror and thriller films in 2018, including Lars von
Trier's The House That Jack Built and the neonoir Under the Silver Lake. Keough
played the role of the lead character in The Lodge, a psychological horror
film. Zola is Keough's comedy-drama sequel. Keough is Sandy Harrison in
Netflix’s 2020 release of The Devil All the Time.
