American actress Elizabeth Leigh Vassey was born on the 9th of August the year 1972. Her roles include Emily Ann Sago in the television show All My Children, Captain Liberty in the 2001 TV series The Tick, Wendy Simms in the tv series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Nikki Beaumont in the web series Nikki & Nora. Vassey was the teenager Emily Ann Sago in All My Children in the years 1988-1991. From 2004 until 2005, she appeared in a recurring role on the TV show Tru Calling as Dr. Carrie Allen.She appeared in several episodes of the sitcom Two and a Half Men. In the episode "The The Last Thing You Want is to end up with a Hump" in 2003, in "Twanging Your Magic Clanger" and "The Crazy Bitch Gazette" (2011), and in "Nice to Meet You, Walden Schmidt" (the season premiere starring Ashton Kutcher).From 2005 to in 2010, Vassey was in a role that she reprised as Wendy Simms on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Vassey began appearing in the opening credits for the show's Crime Scene Investigation series as an in-character cast member and was then promoted to a permanent position with the tenth series. Entertainment Weekly reported June 1, 2010, that Vassey did not return for the 11th season of the show. She guested in one episode in that season.Vassey made a cameo on Joss Whedon's web-based musical Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along blog in the role of "Fury Leika". Vassey is married to David Emmerichs, a camera operator.In 2002, along with her co-star Kristin Bauer, Vassey started a company called Neurosis to create a T(ee) and produces and sells slogan-covered t-shirts for women. The slogans are humorous and poke fun at the neuroses and worries of women and often relate to relationships.
